when you’re scrolling through facebook and you stumble upon a video of a man who plays piano for his rescue kittens every night, and you remember you had been talking about adding a second kitten to the family (because, as the title reads, kittens need friends — and humans need to not be treated like mobile scratching posts), so you check your favourite local shelter’s website and you spot a big ol’ ball of fluff only a few weeks younger than your current cat, and you drop everything you’re doing so you can head on over, scoop him up, and bring him home.
